Sims 4 has paused downloading and will not resume

I was downloading the sims 4 and it got to 82% and then the download paused. I clicked for it to resume and it will say resuming for about 30 seconds and then it will say download failed. My internet...

i have had this problem too, it got to 42% and I decided to pause, it took ages to pause, and i couldn't resume it.

    Try closing and reopening Origin
