@Corneliaaolofsso Do you see blue flashing squares where your household thumbnails should be? That's a known issue caused by mods, and when it happens, the only solution is to remove mods and revert to a previous save.

Please use the manual method, and make copies of your backup saves in case you need them later.
If that's not the issue, please describe what you see when your households disappear, and let me know whether you get an error message.
@puzzlezaddict Hello! I appreciate your answer and you are right about the blue squares!
I deleted all my mods and my game still didn’t work. So I saved some households and some houses and loaded a new game and it worked!
Do you think that If I’m downloading my mods again, that my game will work with the mods? Or do you think the blue squares will come back to the new game
Im very thankful, because I couldn’t get any answers from EA.
Again, thanks for the answer!

@Corneliaaolofsso If you redownload the same versions of the same mods, you'll likely get the same results sooner or later. But if the issue was outdated mods rather than poorly-made ones, simply getting updated versions should be sufficient. There's always some risk with using mods though.
The safest approach of all is to keep backup copies of your saves, so if and when this does happen again, you can revert to a previous save without much trouble. In-game, you can use "save as" to rename the save; the original will remain intact under its current name, and you can play the new copy forward. You can also periodically make copies of your saves folder and store the copies elsewhere (e.g. an external drive). Then if you run into trouble again, you can dig out a save from a few days ago that's presumably unaffected.
