Sims 4 is taking forever to download and is now going in reverse

I pre-ordered the Sims 4 so when it came out on September 2nd I started to download it. It is now September 8th and the game has not fully downloaded and now instead of taking forever to download mor...

Talk to your internet provider. This sounds like an issue with your connection. Do you have anything else using your bandwidth like streaming Netflix or downloading large files? You may want to run a speed test at www.speedtest.net and report the results to your provider. They can tell you if you're getting the download speed you're supposed to.

No, I do not have anything else running but I will try the speed test and talk to my internet providers. Thanks for the help!
