Sims 4 keeps corrupting my saves?

So, about a week ago my Sims 4 copy would start up, get to the first loading screen and then shut down. I restarted my PC, tried again, same thing. Then I start to look up answers, so I started with removing all of my CC, tried that, started it up, same thing, still crashing. Okay so it isn't any of my CC, or my PC itself. Then I decide to completely wipe origin from my computer and redownload that, thinking it may be the problem, so I followed all the steps to remove it, and the reinstalled it. Start up Sims 4 again, crashed at the same spot. Okay so, it's not Origin itself, my Mods, or my computer. So I decide to download Legacy Edition, to see if maybe my computer would count under being an "older system" since it is a couple years old now. 3 hours later, I start up The Sims, crashes. So that leads me to my final deduction, my saves, I copied my saves pretty recently thankfully, or so I thought. I removed my most recent save, and it loaded! Hurrah, I've done it! Wrong, I play the game that night to catch back up to the progress I lost. Shut it down and go to bed for the night, the next day, it crashes, so I messed around with my saves again, deleted one of them, and it loaded back to an even earlier save. Fast forward to now where I can really only get the game to open if it's a blank canvas, but wiping the game doesn't help me if the game is continually corrupting my saves then I will make no progress or do anything I'd want to do. What do I do? Is there an even bigger problem that someone else can see that I can't?

@SisiFire2  I would try to get the game running under 64 bit again as some packs require 64 bit. My first guess is you have a computer issue. Operating system resources are finite. You can have great hardware but if the operating system is running out of resources many things can happen like corruption. First guess is your running out of free space on your system device - a guess. If your computer is a pc please post your computer's dxdiag - how to post your dxdiag and then attach the txt file to the paper click in the lower right of the response window.

I don't think it's my computer, it's been running fine for awhile now and has never corrupted a saved on any other file or sim game, it is definitely the game itself, because I could clear all the saves and create a new one and it would still crash, I deleted a couple games off of my computer and it still won't run properly. Plus all my other games run perfectly fine, if it was a problem with my PC it wouldn't just target Sims alone. My PC is a laptop though.

  • I've been having the exact same issue. I also checked my "saves" folder and seem to be missing some files. It happened to me once, I tried starting over, then it happened again.
