SpikenEin Sims 4 often crashes on your processor and others in the same category due to the motherboard overclocking the CPU by default. This can sometimes be fixed with a BIOS update, so look for one for your board. In case you're not sure how to look, find the board model, which should be in the documentation you received with the computer, and also printed on the board itself. Google "[model name] drivers" and select the manufacturer's support page.
If the BIOS update doesn't help, or you don't see a newer version than your currently-installed 1663, try disabling CPU Turbo Boost, in the BIOS Advanced settings. Some boards call it something slightly different, but it should be there and have "turbo" in the name. I believe the Intel turbo boost setting is completely different, so that's not the one you want, although you can try disabling that too if you want.
