    @puzzlezaddict Thank you for trying to help! It turns out it was an issue with one of my computer protection services taking up too much of the memory.

@thatshydork  Running a dxdiag isn't a troubleshooting step, it's a way to gather information that might be helpful in diagnosing the problem.  So please attach your dxdiag to a reply here, and I'll take a look at it.

    @thatshydork  That's your choice, but other than the user and machine names right at the top of the dxdiag, the file doesn't contain any personal or identifying information.
