@lizzie221188 Did the game ever run correctly? Is this a work computer?
@roberta591 it's a home computer

@lizzie221188 It looks to me the Microsoft Visual C++ is damaged. This is a program that was installed by the game. There are Python errors also again installed by the game. These are part of the core files for this game. While it may be possible to repair it may be easier to reinstall the game. Move the game's user files to your desktop. I recommend using Revo uninstaller (there is a free version). Then use ccleaner (there is a free version) to clean the registry. This way you get a clean install. Install the game. It may be possible that the old user files may work and you can copy them back from your desktop.

@roberta591 I used revouninstaller and then ccleaner and reinstalled the game. I played the game just to get the ea file and then replaced it with my original saves file. It crashed 4 times in the space of about 10 minutes. I've gone through the process again today and played the new file and it crashed after less than 5 minutes.
I'm thinking of installing Windows 11 on my computer at some point so might do that over the weekend.
Is there anything else I can do?

@lizzie221188 i don't think installing Windows 11 will the problem. It looks like MS Visual c++ got damaged or deleted. I would try to download the vcredist from Microsoft and installing it. Are you sure all the fans are running? The computer could be over heating. Did this game ever run correctly or did it always crash?
