halley_S2 Please test with no mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. You don't need to save your progress.
If this doesn't help, please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see. Try again to load this household, and when it doesn't work, look for a new lastexception. If you find one, open the file and delete its first line of text, then attach it to a reply here using the paper clip (Attachment) icon. If you can't attach it, you can copy the text and paste its contents into a reply.
