@LadyPandyy Sims 4 will always look for the user folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, and if one doesn't exist there, it'll create a new one. This is independent of the game's install location. So what you're seeing is perfectly normal.
If you'd like your user folder on D, here's how to make that happen:
You can direct the folder to pretty much wherever you want, but it should NOT be combined with the game's program files. You should have two separate Sims 4 folders, one for the program files and one for the user data, in distinct locations.
