Sims 4 Lagging after Aug Update

     Hi, so ever since my game updated Aug 24th, it lags quite a bit. It was pristine and smooth, but once the loading screen comes on you can see the lag and stutters in a way. I looked at other questions similar to mine and I did everything the comments suggested, still nothing. Actually I made my screen go black went I went into Sims and sometimes it goes away. I made sure my drivers are updated, cleared caches, deleted files and mods, reinstalled SIMS 4 and Origins, copied trays and saves and did something, installed only Sims 4 and not the expansion packs, made sure the mods were removed, checked my mods and they are updated. I'm also relatively new to using mods, so I'm not sure if they could be the problem. Also, my main Mod did update the same day Sims 4 did, but I did remove them from the game and updated them separately then updated Sims 4, then put them together. As well as, changing it to windowed, full screen, windowed/full screen, changed the quality to low even when it used to run Ultra High/High just fine, turned Origins off from in game use, changed it to 32 from a 64 bit, and probably more but I can't remember everything I tried to do. I basically lost hope, cause I'm not tech savvy and this is all a real struggle for me. My bf tried doing some things and he understands computers more then I do, but he couldn't figure anything out as well. Oh I almost forgot, my computer was also upgrade on everything a month ago, so it shouldn't t be under performing.

    There may be corrupted files in your game folder. To check that the reason for this lagging is not the game, you need to replace these files with new ones. Do it in the way described below. Your saves and library will be not changed or damaged.
    Step 1. Rename The Sims4 folder to "The Sims4 old"
    Step 2. Fix the game in Origin
    Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
    You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
    Step 3. Turn on the game - a new game folder will be created and you will have two - one old, one new
    Step 4. Check if you still have this problem in the newly created game folder.
    If the problem disappeared
    Step 5. Delete in the new game folder following folders:
    "saves" and Tray.
    Step 6. Go to "The Sims 4 old" folder and copy - your "saves " folder.
    Step. 7, Paste this folder in a newly created game folder.
    Step 8. Do the same with Tray folder and TrayDeleteItems file
    Step 9. Check if there are newly updated version mods you are using.
    Then copy and paste your mods and CC from old mods folder to the new one. First copy the scripts mods every time checking if the game is working properly. If you have a lot of CC try 50/50 method ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
    Step. 10. If all is OK - delete The Sims4 old folder.
    It should help;
    If it will not work it means the reason for this lagging is on your computer
    so could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

    I did all this before. I saw your comment on someone else's post, but I'll try it one more time. I do have a lot of Mods so I'll try to go through those again. And here is my DxDiag

    It's only Sims 4 that is lagging. Sims 3 is fine and I play other competitive shooting games and they don't lag at all.

    I repaired all the games and the packs and when I started a new game, a new folder did not appear even though I renamed the folder Sims 4 old. I did this last week and it did make a new folder and now it isn't. I'm not sure if I should reinstall all the Sims games again or not. Also, I said to heck with it and deleted all my Mods.

    There is a problem with failed Windows updates. This may indicate some system problems. However, the fact that a new game folder has not been created in Documents indicates that there maybe is a problem in the game's installation folder. 

    But I think this folder is created but maybe in another place.  Try to find it.

    As for the computer itself, it is advisable that you do SFC scan of your computer because there must be some reason for these failed updates.

    By the way, if you manage to start the game, then when you are in the game turn off the Internet completely. Unplug modem, turn off WIFI. This is just a guess but maybe these lags in the game are caused by a very low frame rate. And this, in turn, is caused by some problem with the internet already reported by players.

    I fixed the Windows update and made sure everything is up to date. I had a new hard drive that didn't have everything switched over properly, cause Sims 4 doesn't allow you to move the directory path of the saving files so I have everything switched back over to my C:/ drive. I did manage to get the new game folder to show up but in game it is still laggy and I couldn't continue with the steps. The WIFI is not the issue. I just moved to another location in the past few months and the wifi is amazing here. I'm not sure if this would be an issue, but when my C:/ drive was getting full my bf moved files/folders over the my D:/ drive, mostly copying and pasting the files to other locations. Not sure if that would mess up the game in such a manner, but I have everything uninstalled and properly installed since I've been trying fix my game.

    It doesn't matter that any folders have been copied to the D drive. The game will not read anything on D drive and the missing folders will be created again on C drive.
    It's not about whether your WiFi works well or not. Simply for many players, it turned out that when the Internet works FPS drops - very low and the game is terribly lagging.

    You can try to fix it in this way. For some players, it worked
    Go to the graphic options in the game, see if you have vertical sync enabled, if not turn it on and restart the game. After enabling this option, the game should hold 60 FPS permanently.
    Do not use any mods or CC for now. Check it out on a clean game
