sims 4 laptop
My MacBook is running out of storage. I was curious what the cheapest laptop I could buy that would be used ONLY for sims 4? I have most expansions etc
@erinb420 All the laptops I'm going to list have the same processor and graphics chip, meaning they'll run Sims 4 roughly the same, with only minor variations in performance depending on the manufacturer's tuning of the laptop. (In this case, they're in the medium-high to high graphics settings category.) So the choice can come down to your preferences for screen size, keyboard layout, or even aesthetics.
If you want the very cheapest decent option, this one is $330 and has twice the RAM and twice the storage of the other options. While 8 GB and 256 GB, respectively, are more than enough for a machine that's only going to run Sims 4, 16 GB and 512 GB are nice to have.

This is the same computer with a slightly larger screen, for $20 more:

If you don't like those, here are three somewhat more expensive (but still cheap overall) options to consider, with the first two HP models being the same except for the color of the chassis:

Checking other sites, I don't see any laptops that are as good as these and until you get to about $500. But you'd prefer not to buy from Walmart, let me know, and I'll list some of those options as well.
By the way, I did happen to see this refurbished gaming laptop for $510, in case you consider that a reasonable price:

I wouldn't say it has great build quality, but it should be fine, and it's certainly a lot faster than the other options above.
I wasn't a fan of some of those reviews. Would a Inspiron 15 possibly work?
I was looking at one with these specs.
@erinb420 Sure, if this laptop is within your budget and you like its other features, there's no reason not to get it. It should be in the same performance category as all the others I linked, other than the refurbished gaming laptop of course.
I can do another search, but I'm not going to find anything better than the Inspiron, at least not new.
