i am having the same problem and it is so confusing and i just don't understand why you have to download the game before you can play it. Can't it just be like the old games where you put the disc in and it plays the game automatically????
You have to install the game. That was always the case for bigger games (I'm playing PC games for over 30 years now). You can't just play them from disc.
You can however install them from this and this is still the case for Sims 4.
