sims 4 missing saves
Sims 4 saves missing. Not on OneDrive, which is not even open, nor has it ever been used. Searched both folders that Sims 4 is in (main folder and user folder, where saves normally are). Tried searching through the Windows Explorer for "Slot_" and it came up with nothing. So all of my saves are just gone, I didn't delete them, anyone know what could have happened?
@Flankyyyyy One possibility is a computer virus. I'm not trying to scare you, just saying that would explain the missing data. If you'd like to check, download Malwarebytes (the free trial is fine) from here:

Open it, click Scan > Custom Scan > Configure Scan, check all the boxes both for scans and for the drives listed, and let it do its job. This could take anywhere from a few minutes to multiple hours, depending on the speed of your computer and how much data the drives hold, so you may want to set the scan to run while you're doing something else. If you'd like, feel free to attach its report so I can take a look.
User error is always a possibility as well, although I'm not in a position to tell you how likely or unlikely this is. Other than that, I've seen enough cases without a good explanation to think I'm missing some other cause, but of course I don't know what would be.
