Sims 4 Music Skipping/Glitch

So I just purchased a new computer, HP Omen with all the new specs on it etc. so graphics cards and whatnot are all up to date.

Installed Orgin just fine, along with Sims 4, I open to play it and everything is working except for the sound.

There is audio however all the audio aspects of the game are skipping like a bad CD, plus the "light" effects such as he sun coming through the windows are skipping as well, instead of moving smoothly across the world they're skipping from one step to the next.

Everything else is working fine, I tried the trick that someone had posted earlier about no sound in Sims 4, deleting the Options and config files but still no luck.

Not entirely sure where to go from here.
