Hello!
I have been trying for days to get into my game, but my problem is that every time i load into the game it shows the sims 4 logo and plays the music but then it goes all foggy and says "the sims 4 is not responding"
I have mods and cc but I have checked to make sure they are updated, done the 50/50 method and everything else.
I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!

Sunflowerrrss14 Please remove your Mods folder and try again to play. You don't need to save your progress; this is just a test. But it's important to find out whether your mods are the problem here. The fact that you've updated what you can doesn't mean the files are all fine to use.
The Sims 4 errors in your dxdiag are somewhat generic, but a bad mod or cc item is one cause.
Hello! I ended up fixing it!! All I needed to was make a new Sims 4 folder from my electronic folder out and make a whole new one. Thank you for your help!
Hi, can you please tell me what mod or CC it was because I'm having this same issue and I'm getting very upset.
It wasn’t any mod or cc. I just had to make a whole new sims 4 folder in my electronics arts one like take the old one out and start a new game then play for a bit and a new one should be there and just move everything
Sunflowerrrss14 diorxdiorr310 The issue could also be a stale file in ConfigOverride, so if that's the case for you, your other content might be fine.
