Sims 4 Neighbors Loiter Outside House
I recently moved my Sims "Family" from Oasis to Willow. Since day one their neighbors have stuck around outside the house, not even trying to knock and enter to do the whole "Welcome to the Neighborhood" *. Finally, I sent out most of my Sims to socialize and get to know them. After making the conversations long enough for the Goodbye option under friendly conversation, I figured that would be it. No... they are still loitering on the same corner and are staying there until they are uncomfortable due to hunger, sleep deprivation or needing to go to the restroom. How do I make them leave and live their automatic NPC lives?!
Admittedly none of those worked, but strangely enough after installing a second gate to the privacy fence from the backyard out of whim, they suddenly entered in droves, littered the sidewalk with fruitcake, stole food from the fridge to allow my Sims to undergo extreme hunger and even Mortimer Goth showed up to make use of our television set.
Again, I don't quite know what was wrong with the front gate, but now that the "let's trash our neighbors house party" is over, I will now make use of the lock everyone out option on the gates... hopefully it will work on the front gate and not somehow "fix" it instead... or maybe I should just leave the front gate alone... 😞
