Sims 4 no sound

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.82
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except the Star Wars Pack and the Haunted House Stuff Pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? unable to hear any sound from sims game while playing. Happens upon starting the game. Sometimes, the sound randomly reappears only to disappear again about 30 second later. It seems the sound reappears when I zoom in very closely while playing. It still vanishes again the next minute though.
What do you expect to see? sound should be played throughout game when volume is up/on
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? no
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? maybe, there were many many patches and updates during the past year. I'd say the bug happens for about 4-6 months now
