Sims 4!! Not able to play household as it takes me to maps/homepage of town!!!

Clicked to travel to another residence looked like it was loading but took me to maps/ homepage of town! Clicked to play household but the process repeated itself  and asked me to pick which household member to go to, don't understand why this is happening never had an issue with sims 4 until today! How do I fix it and play my household as I've restarted it and everything! Help???
