Sims 4 not launching
Having trouble launching Sims 4 digital deluxe. When I press play on origin the small tab thing comes up in the right hand corner however it doesn't load the game, instead it takes me back to origin....

@Bethl0uise1 Am in the same situation as you I have a swift 1 laptop aswell and the same thing happens to me EA was not helpful and kept repeating the same steps I think it’s a issue with origin as other games play on the laptop such as gta which works mine I am disappointed aswell as I have invested so much money in the game as I sold my old HP that I previously use to play it on there but got a new laptop for fast gameplay
@x9yg315tpqzr EA are absolutely useless, in the end they ended up giving me a refund as they had no idea why it wasn’t working. After spending probably 12 hours in total trying to sort it out they said “oh so you can open sims but cannot open the expansion pack” was literally like speaking to a brick wall! My sister has the Acer Swift 1 and sims works perfectly well on hers? Don’t know why it doesn’t work

- @x9yg315tpqzr They have no idea how to fix anything. Kept telling me to ask people on the forum. I called them 3 times in like 15 minutes and they kept sending me links off of google to try, even when I told them I had done all of that they told me to do it again then hung up. I asked to speak to someone higher and they told me they don’t have any supervisors/managers to speak to(I don’t usually ask to speak to someone but they really annoyed me).
Trust me...it’s been such a annoying process as I feel like they don’t know the issue themself I feel like they just going off the internet and posting links to me like I ain’t done all that before..there’s nothing technical help at all..I loved playing sims on my old laptop it was enjoyable but slow me thinking I should get a better Laptop and start fresh that did nothing happen it’s been 3 weeks now and I can’t even send the new laptop back I don’t know what to do anymore as they don’t even know anything on there side they trying to say it my laptop but my laptop as been checked and it fine it plays all games but sims I find that very fishy you get me
