Sims 4 not launching
Having trouble launching Sims 4 digital deluxe. When I press play on origin the small tab thing comes up in the right hand corner however it doesn't load the game, instead it takes me back to origin....

@x9yg315tpqzr EA are absolutely useless, in the end they ended up giving me a refund as they had no idea why it wasn’t working. After spending probably 12 hours in total trying to sort it out they said “oh so you can open sims but cannot open the expansion pack” was literally like speaking to a brick wall! My sister has the Acer Swift 1 and sims works perfectly well on hers? Don’t know why it doesn’t work

- @x9yg315tpqzr They have no idea how to fix anything. Kept telling me to ask people on the forum. I called them 3 times in like 15 minutes and they kept sending me links off of google to try, even when I told them I had done all of that they told me to do it again then hung up. I asked to speak to someone higher and they told me they don’t have any supervisors/managers to speak to(I don’t usually ask to speak to someone but they really annoyed me).
Trust me...it’s been such a annoying process as I feel like they don’t know the issue themself I feel like they just going off the internet and posting links to me like I ain’t done all that before..there’s nothing technical help at all..I loved playing sims on my old laptop it was enjoyable but slow me thinking I should get a better Laptop and start fresh that did nothing happen it’s been 3 weeks now and I can’t even send the new laptop back I don’t know what to do anymore as they don’t even know anything on there side they trying to say it my laptop but my laptop as been checked and it fine it plays all games but sims I find that very fishy you get me
@x9yg315tpqzr I'd still like to see a dxdiag, as mentioned before. There are many system issues that could show up in one game but not others. For example, software installed on your computer might conflict with some feature of Sims 4, or the game might use a runtime that happens to be corrupted on your computer, whereas other games use different runtimes that happen to be intact. There really are too many issues to start guessing; that's why the dxdiag is helpful.
@Bethl0uise1 If you ever want to try again, please provide the info I requested back on page one. It's possible this is a virtual memory issue, which could be easy to fix, but it's impossible to tell without more information.
