Sims 4 on a disk without a disk drive

I own the sims 4 on disk and had a pc with a disk drive that I used to play it but now I’m looking to buy a new laptop which didn’t have a disk drive, can I still download my sims without the disk and play it?

Yes, you can, just download Origin on the new computer and install the game through there. If you might need a disk drive in the future, you can buy an external one with a USB cord.

Thank you! 🙂 it’s good to know because I only used the disk once to install the game on my pc and since then it’s been in the case.

Same for mine! The code registers to your account, so you can use your account to download the game again when you get a new computer.
