Sims 4 on steam not working

I installed sims 4 last night and it was working okay this morning. I played for around an hour with it crashing frequently. I tried to launch it again (I bought it on steam), and then I get a pop up on origin saying the game dosent appear to be installed. It is installed because I was playing it earlier today. What should I do?? Thanks !

    @nicolenellie1  Please try running both Origin and Steam as an admin—right-click on each shortcut and select "Run as administrator"—before launching Sims 4.  If that doesn't help, please let me know what antivirus you use.
