Just need help with pack installation

Hello, this is very much my fault. Changed my settings to dx9 and the game would no longer open and told me to reinstall...this happened multiple time through steam. Everything was going fine, fixed the issue, then realized all of my stuff packs and expansions weren't installed. Easy fix, right? No... they won't download. Please, I've been trying to fix this since last night. Again, this is my fault. I would just like some help or recommendations for what to do... I don't care who helps, I just wanna to play my game... 😅

  • ILuvSharks_53  If you own your DLC through Steam, you need to launch it through Steam in order to use those packs.  That's by design and has been this way since Steam started selling the game.

The error in your screenshot has a few known causes, covered here:

[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Problem With Your Game's Setup | EA Forums - 12693084

The Windows 7 and N parts don't apply to you if you can play through the EA App, of course.  But the part about ReShade/GShade could, since you might have two copies of Sims 4 installed and only have added the utility to the Steam version.  So please try the suggestions there and let me know how it goes.

  • ILuvSharks_53  What happens when you try to download the packs?  If you get an error, please post a screenshot of it.

If they're already showing as installed but don't load in-game, open Marketplace > My Collection and see whether they're deactivated.  If so, you can enable them there and restart.

Everything but my kits say, "Not installed". I checked on steam and EA, both say they are 🥲

This is what happens when I try and launch from Steam. I also bought my packs off Steam
