Sims 4 only cas working
I recently installed the CIty Living expansion and went to test it out. I got into CAS just fine, and even chose an apartment for my sim. However when I went to actually play, the game loaded for a long time then kicked me back to world select saying there was an error and I should restart the game. After restarting several times both the game and my PC (Windows surface laptop) I made sure the game was updated and clicked "repair" several times. Still having the same problem.
I use mods, and custom content and have Cats and Dogs, Get to Work, City living, Holiday, and Grims guitar.

This is a known issue with outdated mods.

Try playing the game again to test. If it loads okay, it may be that some of the mods/cc have become outdated.

1. Move all the mods and cc out into a temporary folder on the desktop.
2. Move a few files back at a time. Load the game to make sure it loads and
everything is good.
3. Delete the delete the localthumbcache.package from the Sims 4 folder.
4. Repeat steps 1 - 3 till there is no more files to check.** While your testing, don't save the game. If you find any problems, delete the mod or custom content file.
