sims 4 options messed up

So I haven't played sims 4 for like a week or so and I went to play it again. But when I turned it on and went to the options tab there was only the option Graphics and even in that tab there weren't...

    Hi @swarklies 

    It's bound to be the mods or cc; there's a very good list of broken cc at SimsVIP which they also update for every new 'patch'. 

    It's a matter of the 50 /50 or a mod/cc folder at a time to find the problematic one. Trying the game each time is how you'll narrow it down.

    It's best to go through the Mods folder each time there is game patch update and get rid of outdated mods/cc to help keep the game running smooth.

    New patches are sometimes released monthly. This means mods and custom content will need to be checked and updated.

    It's best to move your mods folder to the desktop for testing purposes, when you're having issues with mods and cc. This will help troubleshoot the issue.

    Thank you I think I have found the problem. I have all my CC put into separate folders and one folder's name is Game mods. It's basically like all of the mods and scripts that modify the game.

    I took the folder out and I saw that the game was back to normal. So right now I'm just taking out some mods at a time to find the one/s that are the problem. But yeah thank you.

      You're welcome, glad it worked for you. I have a heap of mods and cc, so after any update, it's a tiresome process but a necessary one, until you find the problem.
