Sims 4 Origin Download Stuck

Question

Hey all,I have been trying in vain to download my Sims 4 game for three days! I have a slow internet connection but it has now got itself stuck on "resuming download" at 34% download. It won't let me pause the download or stop it and restart it. I have plugged my laptop straight into my internet router and I can easily access the internet through Google Chrome etc so I know the internet connection isn't the issue anymore.Any suggestions what I do next? Honestly feel like ripping my hair out haha!!Many thanks!(:

Please try the following steps in the order below:Close Origin from Task MangerManually uninstall&nbsp;OriginRun&nbsp;CCleanerRestart your router/modem and do a&nbsp;Clean BootMake sure that your&nbsp;UAC is enabled and set to notifyDownload the latest version of Origin&nbsp;and install the clientAdd&nbsp;firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed portsWhen starting Origin, please make sure to run it as&nbsp;Administrator
