Sims 4 Origin Mac Transfer

I had a mac mini where i originally downloaded origin and sims 4. Now I have a new mac, and I downloaded origin and sims 4, but when I opened it, all of the households and data weren't there, like the game was brand new. I did enable cloud sharing on my newer mac, and that still hasn't changed anything. What should I do?

    This helped a lot, but what if I'm still going to use both computers to play it? Should I just keep on backing up the game onto the drive when I go between computers? Will it continue to save that way so I can bring the drive back and forth between computers?

    You can of course move the files back and forth but you will need to copy the files over to you user folder. I'm not sure if it works well if you have them on an external drive.
