Sims 4 Pause/Play/3x Speed reoccurring issue

Everytime I have logged into sims 4 in the last two weeks, I can enter build buy in any form and it functions near perfectly. However in Live mode, everytime I speed up the game then select a slower speed or pause my time stops but the sims keep moving at the speed the were, furthermore if it does fix itself after a few minutes of waiting the sims has never completed the task they were doing during the glitch and the glitch happens again when j try and play. Sometimes I cannot unpause or pause it at all cause of this glitch. And I can never play Live mode for more than a few minutes at time it's so frustrating I have quit everytime and tried rebooting, reloading, repairing the game everything!!! Any advice?

    @Amberxzortop  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to this folder yet; just see whether the same problem happens in a new save.

    If the new save is fine, you can try copying your existing save to the new Sims 4 folder.  Saves are in the saves folder, unsurprisingly.

    If you see the same issue in the new save, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
