@CamoBugg0328 When you bought the game through Steam, did you uninstall the Origin version and reinstall through Steam? The reason I ask is because my next suggestion would be to uninstall Sims 4 and install it into a different folder, one you've newly created. But if you installed through Steam, the game's program files would have automatically been installed to a different location than the one that was used when you installed through Origin.
By the way, please double-check that you don't have an antivirus running in the background; you'd be able to see it in the Task Manager's background processes list. Many computers come with one pre-installed, and it can run even if you never formally activate it.
I should have asked before, but please also let me know whether you're getting the exact same error message as the one the original poster had. If not, please post a screenshot of the error you see. And let me know whether you use OneDrive.
