Hi, so today I done a symbolic link, I was lead to believe that it would no longer take storage on my C drive now it was on my D drive, I’ve checked my C drive and it’s still taking up storage? Aswell as my harddrive? Can someone explain this in simple words so I can understand please?
SmItHsTeR25 Are you sure the content is actually taking up space on your C drive, as in, you don't have any more space than when you started? If you double-click the symbolic link, it appears to open like a folder, but it's actually redirecting you to the other location. So it could look like these files are on your C drive when they're not. Look at the address bar, above the list of files and folders, to see where you are.
