Sims 4 runs slow and laggy mostly at the beginning of the game! Help...>_<

Hello! I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me with my problem..

My Sims 4 runs slow most of the time, especially at the beginning of the game. It takes forever to load especially when loading career lots (it will take around five to 10 minutes to open a lot) and it always starts as very laggy (the game will freeze around 10-15 sec at the beginning before slowly runs with 1-5 sec lags whenever I move the cursors, then runs smoother.) Sometimes when they are walking (especially when they had to pass a narrow place), my sims also tend to randomly blink/teleport themselves to another place around one or two second before finally continue what they were doing. What irritates me the most is that there's almost no difference between speed 1,2, and 3 (I wonder if this happens to everyone?), so the time in my sim's world runs slowly and makes me really sleepy whenever I play. It's not fun anymore!!

I have custom contents that I use in the game (mostly poses), but not many, because the game was even slower when I put more of those.

Here is my diagnostic results, hope someone can help, and sorry for my broken english! >_<~

You do not have enough RAM for the game and your graphics is below minimum requirements. Your CPU was not detected for some reason but it is likely that is too weak as well. It is almost a miracle it runs at all. Try turning graphic settings down to low and enable laptop mode. This might help.

  • Really??????! *shocked*

Oh.. Wow... I never knew that!! (TT_TT) No wonder it's so laggy in mine and not in my sister's laptop...

I'll try your recommendation, thank you very much!!! >_<~

yeah your computer has the bare minimum to run modern games. i would suggest an upgrade. usually a 1000 dollars PC lasts 5 years or more, enabled to play on high all modern games up to the 5 years run. if it is a desktop computer you can even upgrade it and gain something like an extra year of usability. its not like consoles that once the company says "hey the new console is out, so yours is now for the museum" and your console pretty much dies.

bare minimum is correct. any pc is able to run games. he is fine running 2010 and previous games. modern games (2015 - today) he can run some and in low graphics level. thats bare minimum.
  • With 32MB dedicated memory and at least 128MB needed to hit the minimum for The Sims 4 only. Don't know what games you were thinking of?

This would be a computer I would use for office work, not gaming.
