Sims 4 save files not loading

Question

I haven't played the game in some time, perhaps 3 months. Went to play today and got an EA app error. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game to find my saved game would not load. Mods and everything were also gone. The saved games and mods are still on my PC, in the D drive. I read other posts that said it may be caused by the pathway, but there is a EA folder already in my D drive and when I try to delete the one in my C drive, it simply regenerates when I load the game. Can anyone help with this?&nbsp;

@juliaaw0&nbsp; It sounds like the game isn't reading the folder on D.&nbsp; You'd have needed to create a symbolic link to get it to look there in the first place, but perhaps the symlink was deleted at some point.&nbsp; The simple fix is to make a new one:

@juliaaw0&nbsp; You would need to move or rename the folder for which you're creating the symbolic link.&nbsp; The symlink cannot be in the same location as a file or folder with exactly the same name.&nbsp; So in this case, rename the Sims 4 folder, then try again to create the symlink.
