Sims 4 saved game got DELETED after updating Origin

Hi all, I just updated Origin a while ago, it updated Sims 4 in the process too and when I opened it my saved game was gone! I looked at my Sims 4 folder and there was nothing on it too. Please ...

It has done it every time for the last 4 years. Just a few hours ago I re-designed the entire town. Came back from shower to finish game, after logging back on I find everything gone again. I am getting  really fed up paying hundreds of dollars a year for them not to fix this continuous problem!

Hi @ericahayman2019, Origin would be on a different update today then the update that happened in this thread from 2017 so the advice in here may not apply to you. Could you create a new thread and add more information please? I'll lock this thread here.
