@Lionwithnofrens Are you getting the "already running" error, or just seeing the game apparently running when it's not? Do you see Sims 4 in the Task Manager? And did you install the game through the EA App or Steam?
It’s saying it’s already running after I open it but it doesn’t open the game, it just says “preparing game” and then sims doesn’t open. It doesn’t say it’s open on the bottom bar either. (Assuming that’s the task manager)

If so, please try the suggestions in the first post of that thread.
Otherwise, what app did you use to install the game (EA or Steam)? And is OneDrive running on this computer? Even if you never use it, OneDrive could be the issue here.

Oh. No I am not getting that error. And it probably is one drive, I have had problems before. I used the EA app

@Lionwithnofrens You can try pausing OneDrive syncing as a test. To see the option, right-click the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, or perhaps hidden in the Tray (^ icon).
