Sims 4 screen won't move

Hi, I've got a very annoying issue: When in game mode, the shortcuts WASD, XZ, -+ and ,. don't work. Other shortcuts like M, P, 1, 2, 3 do work, and outside of the game mode every key works fine, so ...

    @sannewestendorp  The most likely candidate is an overlay that's using the same keys.  Disable any overlays you have running: Discord, Steam, whatever.  If that doesn't help, try a clean boot.  It shouldn't be necessary to play like this going forward, but at least you'll find out whether another background app is interfering.
