Sims 4 Startup Screen is Black?

Hi there! I have never had issues with my game since buying it in early 2016, but recently the start up/main menu has been black. The EA screen and Sims4 loading screen are normal but once it gets to the main screen where you actually hit play, it's all black. I can still hear the background music, and my cursor is there. Also the gallery & options (3 dot) buttons are there and clickable, but nothing happens when i hit them.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and origin itself, I have repaired the game and all of my packs through origin, I have removed all of my CC from the mods folder and restarting, and recently I saw a thread that said to trash the options.ini file and let the game make a new one, so I did that as well but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?
