Just chatted with EA tech support and sent him the specs for this cpu and he said it was awesome for playing sims 4. So lucky me!! At $479 its a steal. time to upgrade anyways. thanks for replying

The graphics card in that system should allow you to handle the base Sims 4 game at medium-high settings (depending on the resolution), and probably dropping to medium settings when expansion packs and future patches are added.
