After updating Origin and the new Sims 4 update, I am unable to play.
I have followed some EA recommendations, but when it says "Exit Origin Client and Restart Origin", how do I restart Origin?
I am not technology savvy and would appreciate if someone would be able to explain to me how to restart Origin.
How exactly do you restart?

When you press exit where is the restart button?
After Exiting Origin as @crinrict described, you double click the Origin Icon on your desktop to start Origin again. You can also find Origin in your start menu and, start it from there.
If you are not able to follow the steps. You can just restart your PC and the re-launch the Origin and the rest will go automatically. If that doesn't help,
You can just uninstall the Origin and download the new Origin file from the website and install it, it should fix the issue.
Before you do the steps make sure that you back up your save games.
You will find the save games file to the default path: C:/document/Electronict Arts/The Sims 4/saves

I did the same, I clicked the exit button and I couldn't see any restart buttons so I am really stuck with this now. I f anyone could help me I would really appreciate that. Thank you.
Just reopen Origin, there is no 'restart' button. @Lillypot1
