any sim that does anything university related is deleted from my game when I exit and return. I just downloaded sims university recently and just started using the pack so this was an instant thing. I’ve tried removing mods and cc. Tried using other sims and the same thing happened. Please help.
@mookie77482 What exactly do you mean "anything University related"? Could you give a couple examples of something a sim of yours does that makes them disappear?
Please also test in a clean user folder, for comparison. Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save and see whether the same activities cause sims to disappear there as well.
Basically, I’ll enroll in university and play the game a bit, and once I save and exit and come back the place where my sim is saved (whichever sim did the interaction) is displayed as a constant loading icon and I can’t press play on them. And when I check there family’s family tree they’re gone completely.
or I’ll enroll in university, play for a while, then eventually I’ll come back and it’s the same thing.
I deleted my last save folder and started over completely. Worked for a while but ran into the same issue just recently.
I don’t think it’s my mods, but i haven’t played long enough without the mods to say that for sure.
@mookie77482 It does sound like a mods issue. You can try recovering a previous version of the save, from after your sim enrolled in University but before they disappeared (hopefully you have one), and play forward without mods from there. Here's how to restore a backup:

It may also help to update all your mods, but of course even updated mods can be broken.
@mookie77482 Again, mods that are up to date can still be broken. It would be best to try playing without any of them as an experiment.
