    fixed

    for anyone running windows 8-

    go to Desktop

    Hold down the Windows Key and Press R (This will open the Run dialogue)

    Type cmd and press Enter (Open command prompt)

    type ipconfig/flushdns   and press enter

    type ipcofig/registerdns  and press enter

    type ipconfig/release   and press enter

    type ipconfig/renew   and press enter

    type netsh winsock reset   and press enter

    reboot computer

    this is what the agent from origin told me to do

@EA_Nils hi,

I tried all steps, and the download pause all time.

I block firewall and antivirus.. block some services when startup windows.. and nothing.. follow the steps to host.. and nothing.. 

i tried unnistal origin and the sims 4.. and nothing.. now i cant play on online because dont have a update, e dont play on offline, because dont play, and required a update..

i have another way to download this update?

They are for Download and Installation issues with the Sims 4 specifically.
