Sims 4 update freezes, EA App closes

I just logged on and am trying to update my game. It'll show a little progress bar and then it'll go back down a few times before just telling me something is wrong try again later. I'm on the EA app and I am on PC. I took my mods out. I tried to repair the game and the same progress bar thing happens. I cleared cache and restarted both the app and my pc and nothing :/
@DrewAlienKid I've merged your post with another thread about this issue. Please try the suggestions in post 4, and if they don't help, create an EA App error report and post the report ID here, as described.
