Are your files there?
I already did that, I've been playing sims for years and this isn't the first time my files have gone missing after an update. I can usually find them and recover the data, but this time they are nowhere to be found. The folders don't exist.
In that case it seems that you accidentally deleted them. Try looking in trash.
