Sims 4 Update Not loading!

Mine barely dowloads then says I have to sign in but it says its offline and cant get online right now. Theres nothing in my task manager that says that either.

I am having the same problem as well! It seems to download it fast saying it's done, but when I go to click on it it says there is still an update and the game cannot be played until its downloaded. How frustrating!

I also tried killing the .exe file in the task manager but no success! Help!!

I tried the alt+ ctrl+ delete > process tab > end ts4 and it worked THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!😕mileyvery-happy:

Mine won't load at all.  Nothing happens when I click from the desktop or the game folder and the Play button is greyed out from my Origin screen.  I can't even get the opening page up to even get the option to download an update!  I've checked my processes and it's not showing that it's running at all.  ☹️

Same with mine. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game twice now, and it always says it's up to date. But then when I try to play the game a little orange box pops up and says something like "the saved game you're trying to open was saved on a newer version than what is installed, please update your game" blah blah blah. So I thought I would just try to play... well my sims work just fine, I just can't build or buy anything!!! I try to build a wall, it shows my money going negative but no wall ever shows up. Same with buying items. I try to rotate them and place in my house but no matter how many times I click the object doesn't stay. and I can't sell or place items in my inventory either. This game SUCKS so far. Really upset I can't return it now.

If u read higer up i wrote how to get it to work 🙂 Or it seems to work for most of us :D So go ctrl + alt + delete and then go to the process tab and then end the file thats called TS4.ex and it should work. Gl !
