sims 4 will not open after march update

Hey there. Do you receive any specific errors when you try to launch your game? Could you please elaborate on that. Thanks. 

I'm having the same issue. It did the "update" and then was installing for 2 days. I would click on the game to play and it wouldn't open. I uninstalled the same, reset my computer and it will not reinstall. Origin keeps popping up with an install and download error.

Can you check if your Origin client is up to date? 

I'm having the same issue. I go to open the game, the game begins opening by opening Origin and a new window opens for The Sims 4. I get a black screen for about 5-10 seconds them wham I get booted back to the desktop with a icon for the game still displaying in the taskbar but no gameplay. I get no error message nothing. I've down a scan of my computer with my anti virus software, I've restarted the computer I've tried to reinstall a driver that I was told might not be installed or done properly and still nothing! ☹️
