Sims 4 windows surface pro 3 freezing

I used to run the game and all expansion packs fine but since the last two updates my game immediately freezes on the Home Screen. I can’t click anything or even exit the game. I’ve tried clearing the cache and even deleted and redownloaded the whole game.
