Sims 4 won’t play with mods

Hey y’all! I’m having a problem playing my sims 4 with mods. I’ve downloaded them and installed them into the correct mods folder and when i open the sims, it gives me the little pop up for the mods ...

    Are you sure that these mods are up to date? Most scripts mods and a lot of CC after the last patch are no longer compatible with the game.
    If these mods are up to date first, try to play without mods 2 minutes, then choose the option "save as .." and quit.
    Turn on the game and check if mods are working now.

Thank you! That link helped. On my last computer, when i moved them into the mods folder they were automatically unzipped and for some reason that wasn’t the case for this new computer so that link helped me find the answer i needed.
