SIms 4 won't display on my monitor

I just installed Sims 4 onto my PC.  When we try to play it, we can hear the sound but it will not display on the monitor.  We get a message that the monitor cannot display an analog signal.  Can anyone help me with this problem?  Thank YOu

I've been having the same issue myself. I can hear the audio, but my monitor says no signal.

What kind of monitor are you using ?

Could you post your DxDiag as requested by Cody above ?

  • Hello. I had the same problem and I did everything. Have you tried windowed mode if you are on windows. With no screen, you need to go to your game library in Origin, and click on Sims 4. Then click the settings button and click 'Game Properties'. Click the advanced options and in the command bar, type in '-w'. This worked for me.

  • Hi, thanks Ooglelvan, I did what you suggested and it worked great!
