Sims 4 won't download on EA app

I can't seem to find anyone else who has experienced this on the different forums etc. I haven't played the sims 4 for a few months and last time i played it was on Origin and it always worked perfe...

Dowload issue with Sims4 and EA app ☹️ 

I haven't played the sims since March and I changed computers. when I connect to EA app my sims4 and the addons appear downloadable but when I try to install them I get a download error which asks me to try again later...

I have already tried most of the solutions proposed but nothing works

i have an i7 / 3060 rtx and 1 To of free space 

Need your help !

@nayrodg2  Please post a screenshot of the error.

Please also let me know whether it helps to install into a different folder than the one you've been using so far.  The folder should be on the root level of the drive of your choice, for example C:\Games is fine, but not C:\Program Files\Games.

    Hi @puzzlezaddict  , 

    I have added a screenshot of the error . 

    I tried to delete the EA application but for some reason it no longer appears in the windows uninstallation tool ,

     I tried to delete it with CCleaner portable or Revo but the tools do not see the application then I tried to uninstall it by hand by deleting the folders in c:, from the cache and the regedit then restarting my pc and reinstall EA APP but he still see that EA APP is installed and just offer me to repair the application so i can't install it in othe folder ☹️  

    I have also try to repair it but it still dont appear in uninstall program 

    Do you have any idea how to fully delete all trace of the application ?

    I have finally find a way to reinstall the EA APP and define an other folder on root level but i have the same issue ☹️

      Hey Me again ! 

      I finally managed to start downloading The Sims 4 by paying the monthly subscription fee from EA Play for a game I had already bought.... thanks EA

        @nayrodg2  That's unfortunate.  I've merged your posts into the current thread for this error and flagged the thread to someone from EA.  I'd say keep an eye on the thread for updates, but it sounds like your issue is solved, however annoying the fix.
