Sims 4 Wont Launch

@nikkidt25221  Please go into Documents > Electronic Arts and move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop.  If it copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, stop here and let me know.

Otherwise, wwhen you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If this doesn't help, please try pausing OneDrive syncing.  You can see the option by right-clicking the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.

If this doesn't help either, please let me know what antivirus you use.

Summarize your bug When launching Sims 4 on EA desktop app, i get an error message that tells me the game is unable to start due to missing/corrupt data

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This happend when i swapped from Origin to EA desktop app.
What happens when the bug occurs? Game will not launch and i get an error message

When launching Sims 4 on EA desktop app, i get an error message that tells me the game is unable to start due to missing/corrupt data. It worked fine on Origin. I got a new computer and installed the EA desktop since Origin wont work anymore, installed sims 4 and when i tried to launch i get the same error message every time. After repairing/reinstalling/launching without any mods multiple times this error still occurs. Even launching the app/game as admin does not change anything. See attached file for the error message. Please help.

I will try all of this and let you know. i made another post about this issue but i provided more info and it wasnt made when i was half asleep. 

@puzzlezaddicti also installed dragon age 3 and it launched and works fine.

After combing through the HQ this so far has my game working again.

@EliameiSoran  Please post a screenshot of the pop-up you get when trying to move the Sims 4 folder.

I believe the other poster meant this site, as in, Answers, HQ, when they said "the HQ."  There are a number of reasons this error happens, and therefore a few different fixes, but if you can't move the Sims 4 folder, that's a strong indication of where the problem lies.

I'm using the free version of Malwarebytes, the trail just ended on it. and I'm using the windows defender. and iv not set up onecloud yet as its a new pc build. Here's the error message i get when I try to move folder
