clouds9606 This is a crash of the graphics driver, and it would certainly explain why Sims 4 isn't working. Your currently-installed driver is somewhat old, and Dell offers a newer one for your laptop:

You can sort by Category and look for the Intel video driver, which is dated May 13. Download the driver and run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
You can use this site to check for newer drivers in general too, in particular by clicking This Device and entering your service tag. But please manually install the graphics driver first.
When I try to download the driver it comes up with a message saying no driver was found that can be installed on the current device. I downloaded the intel one from May 13.
